PC Specifications

This build was designed with both performance (for gaming) and long term reliability in mind. I wanted a system that could handle demanding workloads, support my IT projects, and deliver smooth gaming experiences without compromise. From selecting each part to managing cables and airflow, I focused on creating a machine that balances power, efficiency, and clean design.

Main PC:

I wrote a small explanation to some of the parts as to why I chose this item. Most of them are my opinion.

I also created a link to my PC specs via PCPartPicker. Feel free to check how much I spent!

CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800XT
- I've had this for so long, it works incredibly well in terms of workload and gaming. Used a lot of it for gaming and virtual machines. Works great at 1440p at High Settings, in direct to my GPU.
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
- I should've went with an X570 Motherboard to utilize the overclocking and extra features of the processor and other components, but I was actually in a tight budget during that time and this motherboard have been growing strong til this day. I chose a MSI motherboard as I like their UEFI UI and I have been using their motherboards for years without fail.
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4-3200
- This is a good amount of RAM for what I need for one of my personal private VM, exclusively for personal things, such as socials and/or banking, etc. I also use it for creating practice home labs for work and a lot usage for programming in the side. And chrome uses alot of my RAM. sigh.
GPU: PowerColor Red Dragon AMD Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6
- I used to own a 1070 Ti for a long time until recently I went to snag a RX 6800. Why not the XT variant? Because it was a bit pricey, even used. Also, I chose this instead of a 9060 XT because it was "cheaper" for the same performance. Maybe when I switch to a newer PCIe 5.0, then maybe to a future AMD GPU.
Storage:
  • Main OS: 2TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus
  • Games: 2x2TB Samsung 860 EVO (Raid 0)
  • Documents: 4TB WD Black 7200RPM HDD (64MB Cache, not 256MB)
  • Backup Drive 1: 2TB Seagate Barracuda
  • Backup Drive 2 (extra): XPG GAMMIX 1TB S11 Pro (my old NVMe)
PSU: EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 (will upgrade for future parts)
